Введение. В своём развитии Габон опирается на богатую минерально-сырьевую базу и развитие особо охраняемых районов с уникальным биоразнообразием. Особенностью государства является пересечение интересов крупных ТНК и международных природоохранных обязательств Габона. Цель исследования - изучение инклюзивных направлений устойчивого развития республики Габон. Материалы и методы исследований. Базой исследования послужили доклады правительства республики Габон и международных организаций ООН, документы и справочные данные Продовольственной и сельскохозяйственной организации ООН (ФАО), Международного союза охраны природы и природных ресурсов (МСОП), Программы ООН по окружающей среде (ЮНЕП). Результаты исследований и их обсуждение. Выявлены особенности устойчивого развития Республики Габон, проанализированы экономические аспекты и их влияние на экологическую ситуацию. Габон на фоне других государств Африки южнее Сахары, выделяется относительно благополучными показателями экономического развития. Наличие топливных, рудных, лесных ресурсов, рост городского населения и высокий ИРЧП дают возможность закрепить достижения в социально-экономической сфере, а экологическая политика позволяет занять лидирующее положение на мировой арене в решении глобального экологического кризиса. Выводы. Габон активно участвует в решении глобальных экологических проблем, продвигается в рамках устойчивого развития, активно привлекая международные инвестиции в различные отрасли хозяйства. Государство на сегодняшний день является представителем Африканского союза и ведущим участником переговоров на Конференции Организации Объединенных Наций по изменению климата (РКИК ООН) [
Introduction. In its development, Gabon relies on a rich mineral resource base and the development of specially protected areas with unique biodiversity. The peculiarity of the state is the intersection of the interests of large TNCs and Gabon's international environmental obligations. The purpose of the study is to study the inclusive directions of sustainable development of the Republic of Gabon. Materials and research methods. The research was based on reports of the Government of the Republic of Gabon and international organizations of the United Nations, documents and reference data of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Research results and their discussion. The features of the sustainable development of the Republic of Gabon are revealed, the economic aspects and their impact on the environmental situation are analyzed. Gabon stands out against the background of other sub-Saharan African states with relatively prosperous indicators of economic development. The availability of fuel, ore, and forest resources, the growth of the urban population and a high HDI make it possible to consolidate achievements in the socio-economic sphere, and environmental policy makes it possible to take a leading position on the world stage in solving the global environmental crisis. Conclusions. Gabon is actively involved in solving global environmental problems, is advancing within the framework of sustainable development, actively attracting international investment in various sectors of the economy. The State is currently a representative of the African Union and a leading negotiator at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) [
