Application of Scanning Probe Microscopy in the study of spontaneous aggregation of thrombocytes in patients with mutations in the platelet receptor glycoprotein IIb / IIIa

Abstract

The paper presents the results of the use of scanning probe microscopy to analyze platelet aggregates in women with normal pregnancy and in the presence of polymor-phisms in the gene for platelet glycoprotein IIb / IIIa. It was found that the size of the aggregates healthy pregnant women is higher in healthy non-pregnant women, but do not reach the perfor-mance of women with thrombophilia. It is noted that a defect in the gene for glycoprotein IIb / IIIa platelet functional activity increases.
